📅 26 February 2025 | 📍 Multimedia Rooms, Central Library NTUA
Following the official launch of ADAPT4CE, the project consortium came together for its Kickoff Meeting, a crucial event that laid the foundation for collaborative research, technical development, and strategic impact. With partners from leading academic institutions, research centers, and industry stakeholders, the meeting provided a platform to define priorities, establish synergies, and set ambitious milestones for integrating Circular Economy (CE) principles, digital transformation, and smart materials in construction.
The hybrid event saw over 30 participants joining online and 8 attending in person, ensuring broad representation and active engagement across multiple sectors.

🔹 A Key Milestone in ADAPT4CE's Journey
The Kickoff Meeting, hosted by University of Athens (UOA, Greece), marked the first major step in bringing the project's vision to life. The event was attended by representatives from all ADAPT4CE partners, including experts in AI-driven deconstruction, additive manufacturing, digital twins, and blockchain for supply chain transparency.
🛠️ "This meeting was a crucial opportunity to align our research strategy and ensure a seamless collaboration between partners. ADAPT4CE is not just about advancing sustainability in construction—it's about driving a fundamental industry shift where digitalization and circularity become standard practices."
