Management and coordination

Objectives: In this WP the administrative and financial obligations of the consortium will be erformed. These include coordination of the project, reporting, supervision and intra-consortium communication support.
Description of Work: WP1 ensures the strategic alignment and cohesive functioning of the ADAPT4CE project, directing all consortium activities toward the central objectives. It provides a framework for comprehensive project management, risk assessment, and data management, facilitating clear communication channels and effective decisionmaking processes. UOA, asthe project coordinator, leveragesits extensive experience in EU research projectsto lead this package, supported by all partners and WP leaders.
Task 1.1. Project Management and Strategic Coordination (Leader: UOA): UOA, assisted by the Management Support Team, will oversee the project's scientific, financial, and administrative coordination. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets, integrating activities across WPs, preparing reports for the EC, and managing communications. The task includes scheduling consortium meetings, documenting minutes, and providing continuous evaluation and contingency planning for risk management. Role of Participants: WP leaders and partners contribute to oversight and execution, with specified roles in communications and task implementations. The staff involved are experienced in project management and have complementary expertise to support the project's multifaceted needs.
Task 1.2. Quality and Risk Management (Leader: UOA): This task focuses on maintaining the quality of deliverables and monitoring all quality assurance procedures, grounded in the standards of ISO/IEC 15939. A quality control strategy and a peer review system will be established, with participation from all partners. Deliverables will be assessed against a predefined checklist to ensure consistency and excellence. Role of Participants: Each partner will participate in the peer review process, providing expertise to evaluate deliverables against the quality criteria.
Task 1.3. Data Management and Compliance (Leader: UOA): UOA will develop and maintain the Data Management Plan (DMP), a dynamic document that will be updated periodically to reflect the project's progress and any changes in policies or consortium composition. The DMP will address existing and generated datasets, ensuring data is managed according to open science principles and secured appropriately. It will cover aspects like data discovery, standards, ethics, IP, access, sharing, reuse, and long-term storage, aiming to standardize data handling and promote data findability and accessibility. Role ofParticipants: All partners will contribute datasets, follow the DMP for data handling, and participate in regular reviews and updates. Staff members involved will include data managers, IT specialists, and legal advisors, ensuring a well-rounded approach to data governance.
